Hello, my little friends!

Brrrrrrr! Winter has definitely set-in up north and it’s been very cold outside!
Oma sure does hope you remember to bundle up & keep warm when going outdoors!
Today’s story provides a wonderful idea to cheer-up the winter dull-drums that can sometimes happen; as well as a fabulous idea for our feathery friends, during these long winter months.
The After Christmas Tree

Everyone knows that the end of the holidays have the potential to bring on a case of the blues. In todays story we discover one family’s way to make Christmas last a little longer: a party! Complete with ice-skating, cocoa, and an after-Christmas tree, decorated with good things for the animals outdoors to eat!

Oma was so inspired she decided to make special treats for her cold feathery friends too!

Come along with me to Oma’s Reading Room where perhaps you will be inspired to do the same thing for the birds in your own yard!
Let’s go!
Remember Oma’s sending you her
hugs and her blessings!
I hope you’ll catch them and hold them
real tight!
Bye-Bye!

Great idea to show the craft project at the end. Loved it!

Thank you! They were an awful lot of fun to make. And the birds found them to be simply delightful. Time to make some more!!
